Solange Knowles and former fiance (well, they’re married now) tied the knot, in a simple but colorful marriage ceremony over the weekend.

The Singer Solange and her Music Video Director, finally exchanged their ‘I DO’ vows before God, before family, and before friends.

The wedding was at Holy Trinity Church at the Marigny Opera House on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Marigny Opera House is located in the French quarters of New Orleans in Louisiana, United States.

As Oscar de la Renta puts it,”..Style is more about being yourself” … and that is what the duo did, and in their own ways. They decided not to be chauffeured around but instead, to approach their wedding and reception, on their own. And they did that on all-white-painted vintage bicycles.

Solange approached the altar wearing a regal ivory Humberto Leon for Kenzo wedding dress with an attached cape. Solange accessorized this with redlipstick, gold Jill for Lady Grey bracelets and Stuart Weitzman shoes.  And Alan wore a sharp white Lanvin suit to match his wife. For the wedding reception, Solange wore a Stephane Rolland ensemble.

The wedding and reception, was star-stubbed and it was beautiful. In attendance, was Solange’s sister, Musician Beyonce Knowles and her Record Producer-Rapper husband, Shawn Corey Carter (Jay Z)
