But this beautiful and talented surfer abandoned her bikini for a dazzling burgundy Marchesa gown at New York’s Met Gala.

The six-time world surf champion looked like a beauty queen in the revealing but royal regale that she wore. It gracefully showed off her nice surfer’s physique as she appeared with Kelly Slater.
There is no doubt that her outfit made waves and raised excited eyebrows as she created a red carpet sensation at the Met Gala. The elegant claret silk gown fitted her perfectly. She looked like a Queen about to approach her King.
Stephanie was kind enough to share tons od flurry social media snaps as she revealed that her style goes beyond the beach. She also uploaded picture on her preparation to go for the annual fashion juggernaut that held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala.
Dazzling in a fine gown by Marchesa who was also the fashion stylist for Sofia Vergara, Poppy Delevinge and Ellie Goulding, Stephanie looks as beautiful as ever in the claret-colour dress.
The dress had a nice one-shoulder design and a soft lace edge; it then came around her toned midriff before making waves of silken pleats.
In one word- She looked “stunning”
The frothing layers of the elegant frock were a higher match for the red carpet big hitters of the night. Amongst the many celebrities and star; Stephanie did stand out!
She also styled her sunkissed locks in a sleek chignon and did a plum pout as she walked in between a friend and the handsome Kelly- a co surfer (or so we think).
Stephanie recently faced a hairline fracture, knee injury that made her decide not to participate in the Margaret River pro event which held in April but this didn’t stop her from making an appearance on the red carpet with the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna and J-lo.
