1.) Myth: A good relationship means that you don’t have to work at it.
No relationship and I mean none is absolutely smooth sailing. Successful relationships require an input of hard work, dedication, commitment, love and even friendship. There’ll be challenges but you must be willing to fight for what you.
2.) Myth: If partners really love each other, they know each other’s needs and feelings.
Asides from this being a myth, it’s also a very big lie. No matter how much you love someone, you can never read their mind of identify how they feel. You should learn to say what you like and dislike in a relationship. Be open about your needs and feelings.
3.) Myth: If you’re truly in love, passion will never fade.
Passion does and will eventually fade in a relationship if nothing is done to re-kindle the passion. Read my last post on Igniting the spark in a relationship. Passion sets of at its peak when a relationship is in its early stage of growth but as things begin to advance; passion becomes something you must work at re-igniting too.
