It’s no longer news that most celebrities in Hollywood adore youthfulness and will give up virtually anything just to remain young. This makes it quite surprising when you find a celeb who doesn’t fear the aging process.
Anna Kendrick who has starred in several block buster movies like Pitch Perfect is one of the few who doesn’t mind getting old.
In an interview with Glamour magazine, the beautiful woman stated ‘I felt different at 29 because 29, to me, is 30. There are times when I still feel like an actual toddler in a grown-up—well, semi grown-up—body. But Other times I can’t wait to actually be 30,’
Viewing her cover photo on the front page of Glamour, you can probably say just why she maintains this stance.
On not being afraid to age; Anna Kendrick spoke about the fact that she can’t wait to turn 30 this August. How interesting!
‘As an actress you’re perpetually about to be unemployed. That fear—when you have two parents who worked 9-to-5 jobs and went through periods of being unemployed—is real,’ the star revealed to Glamour
She also spoke about her love for acting and how she’s doing what she’s always wanted to do for the rest of her life.
At the moment, the pitch perfect star is currently in Madrid, Spain promoting her latest movie- Pitch Perfect 2.
Anna Kendrick went on to discuss the fact that she also loves comedy and this flare started as a self-defense mechanism while she was in middle school.
Talking about the fact that she didn’t have confidence in her looks and smarts; she stated ‘I was like, Well, I can take a joke and I can make one too. I’ve got that going for me!
It’s funny that the beautiful actress didn’t consider herself so but on the red carpet, she always appears stunningly gorgeous.
In Pitch Perfect 2 which is due for release on May 15, Anna stars as A Capella singer- Beca.
‘My favorite Beca is Struggling, Awkward Beca because I think that’s who we all are. We want to be like Cool Beca, and we’re not,’ she said of her character in the college comedy.
She also spoke about gender bias in Hollywood as films selected for “Best Picture Oscar” had male leads.
‘I totally stand by the belief that there are 10 unbelievably talented women for every role.’
If you’ve watched Pitch Perfect 1 then you’d be more than willing to see Pitch Perfect 2 as soon as it’s released in the cinemas
Anna’s A Cappella group- Barden Bellas totally steal the show and give you every reason to love A Capella. It’s a perfect combination of fun, friendship and laughter.
