#AskLucia – Where to shop

Happy End Month!

On normal occasions I would say happy Friday but I think most of us are glad that January has come to an end, so today I will go with ‘Happy End Month!’. As we conclude this month, I would like to launch a new category on my blog. This category will be called #AskLucia and basically I will be using it to address common questions that I keep receiving so that other people with similar questions can also benefit from the same. So to start us off, is a question from my reader below….

Ask Lucia

Where do I shop? Say for example today’s outfit;

Lucia Musau

The bag and shoes are from Myrina Alke. I discovered this store about 2 weeks ago. They are based in Lavington Green, above Chandarana but you can also shop from them online or call them (+254 708 555666).I shop from different stores; the best part is below each outfit post, there are always links on where to buy the specific items. To get these stores, simply scroll through the blog posts under ‘my style’ if you find a shoe or a bag you like, there will be a link or a no. at the bottom where you can shop the particular item. Hope this answers your question and happy shopping! Be sure to check links of all items on this outfit at the bottom..

Hello Food | MusteredLady.com

Hello Food

Lucia Musau

Many at times I talk about fitness but I rarely talk about food yet the two go hand in hand. If your goal this year is lose several kilogram’s or just to maintain what you have or even add some more then healthy eating should also be your goal. Many of us have just come from holidays where we weren’t  keen on what’s on our plates and right now as we jump back to our usual 8-5’s we don’t have much options for lunch. Then there is the junk food across the street which keeps calling our names out loud.

So the question is what do we do? Of course the first option for many of us is to carry some packed lunch but again not everyone is able to do this and especially every day. I found myself in this situation last week, where I hadn’t carried any packed lunch and I couldn’t bear the thought of taking fast food. Almost every affordable restaurant I could think of ordering from doesn’t deliver and the ones which deliver are mostly fast food restaurants. That was up until I landed on hellofood Kenya, finally somewhere I could order from any of my favorite restaurants. From the main stream restaurants like Osteria to other small pocket friendly ones like Mama’ lunch box where you can even order Pilau for Kshs 200 delivered right to your office.

So who is ‘hellofood’ anyway? Turns out, hellofood has been operational in Kenya since 2012. It even has affiliated brands in Asia and Russia (Delivery Club and foodpanda) and all they do is bring you food from any restaurant right to wherever you are for as low as Ksh 100. You get to choose from international cuisines to local foods; from juices to salads the choice is yours.

Don’t let the fact that you didn’t get to carry packed lunch keep you from having a healthy meal. All you have to do is get on www.hellofood.co.ke choose your preferred meal, pay cash on delivery and enjoy your meal

Here is to Healthy Eating!
