The President of the United States- Barrack Obama recently made a stop on Tuesday night at The Daily Show to wave goodbye to Jon Stewart  which is exactly two weeks to his final taping that ends on the 6th of August.

President Obama made mention of how proud he was of the work being done during Jon’s time in office and he added that there were still a couple of other things that need to be done.

According to Obama who still has less than two (2) years in office “You’re always going to fall short, because if you’re hitting your marks, that means you didn’t set them high enough,”

“We don’t score a touchdown every time, but we move the ball forward.”

Just like thousands of people across the world, the president expressed his unhappiness about the departure of Stewart The Daily Show.

“I can’t believe you’re leaving before me,” he expressed in a conversation with the late-night host.

“In fact, I’m issuing a new executive order that Jon Stewart cannot leave the show.” he joked.

Stewart drilled Obama on tough issues- including his nuclear deal with Iran, which has drawn ire from Republicans as well as some Democrats.

In Obama’s words “I do think the work we did early starts bearing fruit later,”

“It just so happens that people are seeing the work we did when we first came in – Iran, for example, it took four or five years to get them to to table.”
