If there’s anything we love more than a stylish fashionista, it’s a sibling act.

Let’s roll the time capsule back to the days of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who were once the creators of style and makers of fashion. They existed even before the Middleton sisters were known for their style creed and before any of the Hadid sisters smelt the runway. These ladies paved their way from being child stars (I remember being so in love with them and what they were about) to fashion icons and intrigued us with so many styles that proved difficult to even follow and keep record of. They worked with designers like Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors and even received the CFDA Award to serve as evidence of their fashion mark.

Taking a similar footstep after the Olsen twins is another interesting set of siblings- Willow and Jaden Smith. From being celebrated even as kids, they’ve grown to show passionate style obsession that we simply can’t ignore. Just recently, Willow nabbed a plum role modelling Marc Jacobs’ fall 2015 campaign while her brother- Jaden gave an interview to GQ on why he chose to wear a superhero costume to prom. What’s more- he made GQ’s list of most stylish men for 2015.

Even though the two siblings have never made a definite statement about establishing a fashion line, Jaden has spoken about wearing clothes made by him. It might therefore not surprise us if we hear about a House of Smith in the nearest future. Just like the Olsen sisters, the two have everything to make it work:

They’re not afraid of stepping outside the box. Willow popularized whipping your hair back and forth before anyone thought of it. So also, MK&A made bag-lady chic a thing when they first moved to New York City.

When they can’t find what they want, they make it. Willow writes her own novels and then reads it. This reminds us of Ashley’s quest for the perfect t-shirt, and that need led her to make something for yourself, and this is something Willow totally understands.

They’ve got the power of a sartorial moment. When Mary-Kate got engaged, it was beyond simple. She opted for something extremely unique- a serious statement piece from Cartier and vintage at Sotheby’s. For the Smith kids, there’s the whole superhero costume that Jade wore for prom.

Yet they totally understand comfort. The signature style for the Olsens involve a lot of loose blouses and long maxis which are comfortable enough when taking a nap. On the other hand Jaden wears a lot of bike shorts and Willow revealed that she loves wearing “clothes that she can climb trees in.”
