Following the sad and painful death of award-winning composer- James Horner; the director of Titanic- James Cameron render a very heartfelt tribute in honor of him.
Cameron worked with the late 61 year old on a number of movies ranging from Titanic to Avatar. Later James Horner died this Monday when his single-engine aircraft crashed in California.
The Oscar-winning director made reference to the first time he heard Horner’s scored for a film and spoke about the fact that he cried and cried after hearing him play the Titanic music for the first time.
“James and I were together in his studio on a cloudy day in March when he played the music for me” Cameron spoke with sadness in his voice.
“And he sat down and played a solo piano theme and I cried. I sat there and cried. He played three themes for me that day and I was in tears after every one.

Cameron spoke about the fact that the music legend hadn’t just tried to fit a song to the pictures of the movie but he responded to 30 hours of embedding himself in the movie.
“After listening to the music, I was astounded! and said to James- You’ve done it”
In Cameron’s tribute, he voiced out about James being the heart of the movie and how he wrote the music for the film which entailed everything that the movie was about.
His tribute is coming in just after Celine Dion who performed the award winning theme by James Oscar for Titanic went on twitter to also honour the late music star.

She wrote: “Rene and I are deeply saddened by the tragic death of James Horner. He will always remain a great composer in our hearts. James played an important part in my career. We will miss him. We offer his family and friends our deepest sympathy.”
Several other Hollywood stars have come forward to pay their respects to the music legend.
His death which is a painful blow to the music industry and Hollywood was confirmed by his representatives at the Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency who made a statement stating the following: “It is with the deepest regret and sorrow that we mourn the tragic passing of our dear colleague, long-time client and great friend, composer James Horner.

James was an experienced pilot and was flying a single-engine aircraft that crashed in a remote area of northern Ventura County, California, shortly before 9:30am PST on Monday morning. He died doing something he loved and was 61 years old.
He will be deeply missed and our thoughts, prayers are with the family at this time.
