Bergdorf Goodman hosts dinner for Mary Katrantzou

During the previous weekend, Mary Katrantzou had some of her friends and supporters come together at Bergdorf Goodman to celebrate the fabulous designer over what we consider- “an intimate dinner at BG restaurant”.

The setting was poppy-and-peony based and blossomed with Katrantzou-clad belles. We also had the likes of Sarah Hoover (the bright young gallerist), starry dermatologist- Dr. Lisa Airan, top-drawer nail artiste- Madeline Poole and model/actress- Drake Burnette.

Mary Katrantzou gave a very heart-felt speech as she spoke about the fact that everyone present meant a lot to her. She said this as she raised her glass of rosé champagne in characteristic delight.

The beautiful evening consisted of quite a number of spectacular appearances that ranged from the prevalence of the designers’ go-to footwear guru- Gianvito Rossi as a guest and Katrantzou herself, had a lot to offer. She had a strappy kitten heel which she had on all day for a personal appearance at the department store and later she displayed a classic pointed pump which she regarded as the “perfect shoe”.

With a gorgeous display of shoes that revealed brands like Nichola Kirkwood, Guilietta and Western style boots through the night, Katrantzou has once again proved that she still knows how to work her magic in doing what she loves doing best. [FootWearNews]
