Well, guess who’s starring in the video? You couldn’t have guessed it. It’s our one and only Rihanna. According to WWD she’ll be starring in the fourth installment of the series which was filmed in Versailles and shot by Steven Klein.
It’s no longer news that the talented singer has a unique way of making her fashion statement and we were definitely wowed when she stepped out in Alexander Wang’s brand new serrated boots for fall 2015. This was days after Wan’s NFYW presentation. Rihanna then debuted furry slippers by Simone Rocha just as the trend was becoming highly popular at the end of Fashion Week.
Given her admirable boldness is embracing fashion in her own way, we weren’t in for any surprise when she was selected to front the French fashion house successful video in the latest installment of the series which were shot by Inez and Vinoodh. The video is said to have gathered over nine (9) million views at the tie of this posting and features a pair of knee boots that you must consider getting before the month runs out. In the video, Rihanna joined Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Portman as a representative for Dior, and she’s the first black woman to appear in the series. She also announced the news of partnership with a simple selfie captioned “Hello #Puma.”
