In the history of fashion, we will forever remember today as Zoolander takeover day and it wasn’t just about the epic stunt but something else that caught our eye. Looking back to the brasserie-cum runway at Chanel where we had top models like Cara Delevingne nibbling on olives and sipping fresh grapefruit juice; we knew already that the day was moving towards a great start. And yes! it started great and ended better with McQueen’s pretty-in-pink lace dresses.
Check out some of the moments that made our day:
1. Cara and Kendall were seen at the Chanel bar: Karl Lagerfeld usually transforms the Grand Palais for Chanel’s show and today we had A list models like Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner have a seat at the bar on the runway after Lagerfeld’s finale lap.
3. Red-carpet wins: During Valentino, we were able to get a glimpse of gorgeous evening wears after being suffocated previously with lots of day-wears. The long-sleeved, Cinderella styled dresses will definitely be a great alternative for common red-carpet wears.
4. Strategic lace: We’ve been priviledged to view loads of great looks on the runway this season but only exclusive designers have given us wears that are regarded at “stunningly beautiful” like Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton.
5. Our new favorite poncho: Designer Denis Colomb also gave us something to look forward to with her cream-colored poncho which is quite subtle and very uniquely alluring if you ask us at Musteredlady.com
