 It was big surprise to see the very famous Kanye West being brought to tears during an interview with Zane Lowe as he spoke about the death of Professor Louise Wilson who died while sleeping at the age of 52.


Wilson, an icon in the fashion industry who helped the forward movement of the careers of Christopher Kane, Phoebe Philo and Alexander McQueen .

Kanye West went on to share his memories of the fashion icon and the time they spent together. He also recalled the valuable fashion lessons that he learnt from her.


“I didn’t know we were gonna lose her” West continued as he reminisced about the times she appreciated him for coming for her shows.


On how the met, Kanye spoke about the fact that they met through work done by Kanye for Central Saint Martins.


“Thank you for the times you came to performances. This has really meant a lot to me.” Kanye recalled the beautiful words spoken to him by Wilson before she passed on. He was also present at her memorial service.


After a bit of calm, Kanye held his head in his hands and began to sob profusely but gently; causing the interview to be put on hold for a while pending when he was able to compose himself.


Kanye spoke about the fact that he had never experienced such in any interview before.
