The recently released collection by McQ Alexander McQueen’s design team showcased a huge appreciation for youth culture with faded blue jeans, leather jackets and pony skin dipped in leopard print. What strikes us the most about these designs is the beautiful initiative within which these styles are wonderfully crafted and made to fit wearers or lovers of McQ Alexander McQueen’s work.
And just like previous seasons, this collection basically narrowed its perspective to fabrications that were highly inventive and possessed a well defined approach to silhouettes that were layered with an air of grunge and quite laid-back.
In addition to this was a cricket sweater embedded in cream colour with a tint of silver foil and an asymmetric chiffon skirt. They also designed a jacket that had silver glow and was made from cork layered with silver and matched with a miniskirt that was good to go. The Alexander McQueen house also released some tender nods to portray punk influenced elements through a range of T-shirt dresses decorated by undefined studs arranged at the waist with a fine leather belt. This sums up a perfect style for any trendy fashionista this season.
At Musteredlady, this is our conclusion- the contemporary collections of McQ Alexander McQueen focused on inventive fabrications, with a straightforward approach to the silhouettes. For us, this perfectly fits into the category of styles that we love.
