3 qualities that your future wife must possess
Yesterday, I shared with you on “the perfect guy” and if you’re wondering on whether there is a “perfect lady” then I hope this post clears your doubt.
Let me start by notifying you on the fact that there is no perfect lady.
However, if you want to be with a lady and enjoy happily ever after with her, there are certain qualities that she must possess. And I’m going to be sharing some of these qualities with you today:l
SHE MUST BE HARD-WORKING:
Proverbs 31: 13- She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
If you’re going to date and even go as far as marrying her, please ensure that she is very hard-working. If your future wife is lazy and hates anything that involves work then you should be very concerned. After all, she’ll be taking care of your kids, ensuring that the house is in place, making sure that family members are well taken care of and in some cases supporting you financially. When considering any woman to be your “lady”, be sure to ask her questions that tell you about how hardworking she is- What is her attitude to work? Is she domesticated? Can she handle the pressures that arise from having kids, giving her husband due attention and still maintaining sanity in the home?
SHE MUST BE GOD-FEARING:
Proverbs 31:30- Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Your future wife has to fear God otherwise she will never be able to build a home that is founded on the solid rock of Christ with you. She must know how to go on her knees in the place of prayer committing herself, her spouse, kids, family and work into the hands of God. Beyond this, it’s easier to make heaven when you have a God-fearing woman as the co-captain of your ship. She will do everything to please God and will always keep you in check.
SHE MUST BE WISE:
Proverbs 31:26- She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
Let me define wisdom in this scenario. Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do and doing it; knowing the right thing to say and saying it; it is the discretionary use of knowledge for the greatest good. Your future wife must be display wisdom in her dealings and all that pertains to her. When she speaks, the right words should always proceed forth out of her mouth. With a wise woman beside you, you’re assured that your future children will be brought up under the most appropriate environment possible. Also, you know that when they become “confused” teenagers, you have someone who can speak common sense into them and direct them in the right path.
