HOW TO IDENTIFY WIFE MATERIAL – Using The Right Yard-Stick
I and some of my friends often joke about ladies that are home-makers; when you get married to them, they take good care of you, your unborn children and they make your life pleasant. We regard these women as “wife material”. It might seem very easy to identify them but more often than not, men always use the wrong yard-stick for measuring wife material.
Today, I’m going to be talking about how to identify a wife material. A wife material, who is she?:
SHE’S A TRUE COMPANION: When God created Adam and noticed that he was lonely, he decide to create a woman that will keep him company thereby alleviating his loneliness and giving him reasons to be happy. This gave rise to “Eve”, the first woman who is believed to have been created. “Wife material” is not just some fancy girl in high-heels, she is a true companion, he makes you happy when you have no reason to smile; she stands by your side when others walk out on you; she believes in you when no one does.
SHE IS A HELP-MATE: A “Wife material” is a blessing and not a curse. She is a helper and not a destroyer; a relief and not a burden; a lifter and not one who will bring you down. She will add significant value to your life and give you a better understanding of your purpose, vision and dreams. Beyond this, she will strive to make them a reality and she will go the extra mile to see that as a “man” you become a success whether you like it or not.
SHE IS A HOME-MAKER: A “Wife material” is home-maker and not a home-breaker. Even before you marry her, the peace, love, happiness and joy she will bring to a home radiates all over her. She knows how to take good care of whatever is placed in her hands ranging from children to money. She is the woman the Bible was talking about when describing the “virtuous woman”.
