With the advent of globalization, it has only become easier to mistake “mr wrong” for “mr right”. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you wonder where all the good guys have gone to. You meet tons of guys but none of them seems to meet your cut. You ran into the guy who led the Choir on Sunday and spent some time with him thinking he was “mr right” only to discover that he’s just another phony!
If this is you, then read on! Let me start by saying that Mr Wrong is everywhere; and just as easy as it is to fall into his trap, it’s also easy to avoid him. Avoiding Mr wrong involves the following steps:
BE MISS RIGHT: The kind of lady you are goes a long way to determine the kind of guys that are attracted to you. You can’t avoid “mr wrong” if you’re “miss wrong”. It’s nature! Birds of the same feather will always be attracted to each other. Be the kind of person that you want to be attracted to you.
STOP LOOKING: I have never bought the idea of a lady seeking and viciously going after the man she likes. It should be the other way around. Stop looking and let him start searching for you. There’s a famous saying that men value what they had to struggle to get than what just fell on their laps without any effort. The reason you keep running into mr wrong is because you keep looking and trying too hard. Keep calm and let mr right locate you.
SEEK GOD: You can never lose sight of mr right if your focus is on God. The minute your focus shifts from God, it is often taken to the wrong things and mr wrong is not excluded. Spend time building yourself in God and His word. Spend time growing your relationship with God. By this, you keep mr wrong out and lay a foundation for a perfect relationship with mr right.
Yours Truly,
Tope
