Miley’s Twerking Stunt Dance Goes Awry
Miley Cyrus, the famous American singer, actress, and songwriter, has landed herself into trouble. Miley, according to news source, is under a criminal investigation in Mexico, for extreme twerking.
Miley twerked while on a stage performance in Monterrey, the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León in the country of Mexico. The occasion was to celebrate the independence of Mexico, on September 16th. Miley who was performing to a packed audience in Arena Monterrey , in Monterrey, to commemorate the occasion, started to twerk, and in the course of her twerking, one of her dancers wiped her extreme big prosthetic butt with the Mexican flag. And that was the lightening rod.
Miley, who is known for her usual provocative performances, crossed the mark when she did the twerk stunt dance with her massive ‘butt’ and the Mexican national flag. To Miley and some fans of hers, it was business as usual, but little did she know that there in the crowd, were some law-makers who didn’t take the act kindly. These law-makers think that Miley’s twerk performance showed “disrespect for the Mexican flag and national symbol” and therefore those acts could not be let go, unquestioned. These law-makers suppose that those acts were uncalled for, and could “be punished according to the seriousness and the condition of the person who commits them,” The Mexican constitution, has a special provision which protects Mexican national emblems, which includes the Mexican national flag.
Back to the story: The law-makers who witnessed the twerk stunt scene, did not waste time, and they have initiated an official criminal investigation procedures against the singer-actress, Miley Cyrus.

Usually, Miley is an intelligent artist, she can sing and entertain, however, the question is: Does she have to twerk, and worse still, does she have to stunt twerk with the national flag of a nation?
What is twerking? Twerking is a dance to a popular music in a sexually provocative manner with thrusting hip movement and a low, squatting stance, say Oxford Dictionary Online.
Twerking can be a serious business especially when it causes a negative public uproar. Twerking has led to college dismissals, marriage dissolution, career demotions and what have you? Even though twerking is not the usual Musteredlady thing, I am still aware of some notable celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyonce, Amber Rose, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Niall Horan, etc. that do go on the twerking highway habitually, if not occasionally. However, these ones I have also noted that they do weigh the occasions and the environment critically before they do their things.
For instance, in recent times, the American model, actress, and recording artist, Amber Rose, took to twerking to promote-and-celebrate a music album of husband, Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood. This action, made headline news, and in tend gave her the publicity she had targeted.
Back to our story again: I hope that the 21 year old Miley, will come out of this incident clean, for when found guilty of such a criminal offense , and according to the Mexican law, she could face up to a fine of fine of up to $1,300 or 36 hours in jail, according to the new source, Fusion.
My personal take is: As a lady, don’t you twerk, not at all. If you can’t help it, just restrict it to the four-corners of your bedroom, with your boo and not beyond. Let me hear what you think.
