A Victoria’s Secret lingerie is the dream of every style savvy woman. You wouldn’t want to disappoint your beau when you have to undress to you underwear during outings such as a beach visit, at the swimming pool or just chilling under the sunshine for freshness. And for those of you who are married, you’d like to be in your best lingerie when you go playful with your husband, in private. Victoria’s Secret’s products cater for all these precious moments of women.

However, the lingerie giant seems to have neglect another very important and growing target group, and that is, the plus size when it comes to core lingerie products.

A recent Change.org petition has racked up over 1,000 signatures and holds that the world’s largest retailer of lingerie has “a social responsibility to stop encouraging a toxic body image to tens of millions of teens and women.” A separate Change.org petition has signatures from 750 people.

The largest panty size Victoria’s Secret currently offers is XL, which is equivalent to a size 16. According to Business Insider, the bra sizes are inconsistent. Some styles are sold up to a size DDD, while others tap out at a size D.

“I love Victoria’s Secret so much that I even have their credit card,” explains Dana Drew, who started the petition that has 750 signatures. “My money and my credit are good enough for them, but the fact that I can only buy items like perfume, lotion, and body spray sends the message that my body is not. Every year I watch the Angel Fashion Show and would love to purchase the items I see on my screen but can’t because Victoria’s Secret doesn’t sell plus sizes.” [Cosmopolitan]
