CAN YOUR RELATIONSHIP STAND THE TRUE TEST OF LOVE?

Recently, I came across a movie series titled “The Heirs”- it clearly depicted the commitment of a young man from a very influential background to loving a poor young girl who had absolutely nothing but “happiness” to offer him. Their love was tested by attacks from wealthy and powerful parents who would stop at nothing to ensure that this love was destroyed; an ex-fiancée who was bitter and hurt from a relationship that didn’t work and a dumb mother who was concerned about the problems her “little girl” would face if that love became.

Despite all of these, the couple with-stood and overcame the challenges facing their love and lived happily ever after. Their relationship was strong enough to stand the true test of love. Love’s test can come in different ways and not necessarily in the “picture” as depicted above but one sure thing is this “If your relationship can’t stand the true test of love then it is not really worth fighting for”.

If you love someone genuinely, you will do everything and anything to be with them forever; you will fight every obstacle and high mountain just to keep your love for them intact; you will even be willing to sacrifice all you have just to make them happy.

And so, my question to you is this: “Can your relationship stand the true test of love?”

Can you defy every authority (except God of course) just to be with your beloved?

Can you fight for a love that is worth more to you than money, fame, power, inheritance, wealth and affluence?

Can you let go of your pride, ego and every bad character just to be better for your beloved?

Can you stick to your beloved even when they hurt you in every way possible?

Can you take a leap of faith with your beloved knowing-fully well the challenges that you would face?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then you deserve a round of applause because you’re one of the very few whose relationship can and will stand the true test of love.
