Guess the newly crowned Miss USA 2015?
It’s the beautiful Olivia Jordan and she was Miss Oklahoma in the competition before she won.
In a very intense competition that took place at Baton Rouge, Louisiana; she defeated the first runner-up Miss Texas (Ylianna Guerra) as the competition slowly came to an end. Her crown was given to her by the Miss USA 2014- Nia Sanchez of Nevada. The ex-beauty queen also congratulated her on Instagram.

Following the recent controversy over a statement made by a co-owner of Miss Universe- Donald Trump; there were speculations that the annual pageant might have been affected. But fortunately, it held on Sunday despite being mired in controversy.
The real estate business man described as “rapists” who bring “drugs” and “crime” into the United States. This later gave rise to NBC cutting ties with the show; co hosts stepping down and several judges, musical performers taking a bow.
It was eventually hosted by the Reelz network on Sunday, and TV personality Todd Newton and former Miss Wisconsin USA Alex Wehrley acted as replacement hosts.

Trump later announced that he wouldn’t be present at the show due to a campaign he had to engage in at Phoenix. (He is currently running for President, hoping to secure the Republican nomination.) His spokesperson- Hope Hicks informed CNN that he would be away in New York as he had “no official events” on Sunday.

This is just the beginning of the drama for Trump as Mexico has stepped out of the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.The winner of Miss USA 2012 is the 64th Queen and will be representing theUnited States at the Miss Universe competition later in 2015.
