It’s highly safe to say that fashion is reliving the ’90s and we’re taking suit! Given the 20th anniversary of Clueless, Dope slamming box office and celebrities like Baldwin, Smith and Beckham defining pop culture in their own way- leave Rihanna to don wardrobe selections that are definitely being influenced by the 90s.

The beautiful artiste has been working on her new album in the Big Apple and she’s been on and about old-school favorites that must have taken a cue from Naomi Campbell and Seinfeld‘s Elaine Benes’ closets.

The singer went into the studio wearing a wide leg trousers that were held up by suspenders as she went for a late night recording session. Underneath, she layered with a baby T-shirt, the top that pretty much defined the ’90s.

Another time, the 27 year old singer left The Mercer Kitchen in Soho wearing a Reformation number that looks like it could have come from Laura Ashley—only with a sexier definition.

Earlier in July, Rihanna was seen buying earrings at a tattoo parlor as she wore a Marni floral-print dress that definitely hit the nail on the head. She also had on classic of-that-era pieces including a Versace choker necklace, Chanel loafers, and a green leather backpack. She looked beautiful!

And at 10AK in Southampton, Rihanna partied all night wearing a black slip dress fit for any supermodel. She topped off her look with a nameplate necklace that read Fenty and sleek silver heels that were adorable.

You won’t imagine who turned up in front row at the Burberry Prorsum yesterday. Yes, you were almost correct but not there yet! Try another guess.

When the lights went up, we were amazed to see the front row lineup which consisted of Sam Smith, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn. To crown it all up, we had Kate Moss fill the empty seat right next to them. Just as the show commenced and a couple of models warmed up the run-way, a slender figure quietly moved towards another front row seat; it was no other person than supermodel Naomi Campbell who happens to be a major force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.

It wasn’t just her appearance that had us smiling but dressing up in a spontaneous goat hair coat and a spunky pencil skirt with gorgeous twinkling embellishments gave us an exciting shudder. After being interrogated, Campbell gushed about the fact that her outfit was selected by Christopher who happens to be C.E.O. and designer “Christopher Bailey”. Campbell happens to be celebrating her 29th year in the industry and has experienced the changing trends in the industry. Campbell’s style can be defined as unpredictable and volatile but always refreshing. According to her “When it comes to personal style; I love pencil skirts one day and sneakers the next”.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2003

The year was 2003, November 13th to be precise, and it was the 9th Annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. And the venue was The New York State Armory in New York City. It was a star-studded show. Why? The reason is simple: Most of the iconic female models and fashion & style advisers-consultants we do have today, were part of the 2003 VS Fashion Show ensemble.
