We love the double denim look, and this Spring I’m updating mine by switching from jeans to Bermuda shorts! I love these loose, boyfriend-style ripped up ones from Re/Done. I prefer to keep the length longer, it’s a cool, laid-back vibe and less Daisy Duke. Oh and although I’d wear these with espadrilles or white sneakers to run errands in, I like the idea of dressing up such a casual look with metallic, killer heels and an elegant clutch, for drinks with friends. And you know I love a hint of color! I also tossed on a cropped blazer in a graphic print (from H&M, bargain!) for an extra dose of Spring print.
And P.S. a big thank you to my friend Staci of Urban Botanicals for the beautiful blooms! I wanted to create a rustic French market stall vibe for the background of this blog shoot, and her floral shop was kind enough to help us out. My faves? The Japanese Ranunculus on the front left. Try the idea next time you have a party or bbq, no vases required!
