For Vanessa Nunes, a 39 year old, who had both a Portuguese and a south African nationality, taking her life as a result of a failed love affair, was the best decision she could come into grips with. The story has it that Vanessa, who had converted into islam some seven months before her death, got herself into a love affair with a wealthy Emirati businessman. And when things turned sour, she decided to end her life. The lovesick Vanessa committed suicide by jumping from the 148th floor of the world’s tallest building – the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Piua!
