SHORTS IN STYLE – Cut-Off Shorts

Though cut-off shorts are typically worn in the summer, they also say a bit of ‘I’m stylish’ when rocked in fall, spring or in winter.

Picture this: a  nice tank top tucked into your favorite cut-off shorts – for me it would be most likely the high waist-ed one, with a pair of warm leggings, oh! Lets not forget the jacket and warm boots too. That sounds like picture-perfect to me.

Generally speaking, not only are the cut-off shorts more comfortable in summer, they also appear more interesting than that of  other pants. Its one of those summer ‘must haves’, and easy to rock with pretty much anything, ranging from t-shirts, polo, crop tops etc. also coupled with your favorite foot wear.

Did I mention that these pieces come in different styles? – high waisted, the distressed, and the studded ones, which are really cool and other colors than the classic denim color. There are various others too, like the acid wash purple, and pretty much in any color you may like.  Cut-offs  are very popular in style, and worn by different celebrities, so you can purchase them in almost every store.

The most popular cutoffs I know, can be gotten from nastygal.com, gojane.com, forever21.com and many more.

Among other things, my favorite part of the cut off shorts trend, is the fact that you can make them yourself, If you’re like me who wants to get creative, all you need is to covert a pair of old jeans to DIY cutoff, before tossing them in the garbage, say ‘yayy’ to Recycling/Creativity and they will actually hang around for as long as you want them.

Watches are one of those things that either you like to wear or not. Whichever side you’re on, we can all agree that at least, we just want to have at minimum, one piece that stands out and could be also versatile in the sense that we can wear regardless of what we are wearing and where we are going.

A watch is not just a time piece, it’s also a part of our jewelry collection, and also an investment especially for we ladies.

Personally, I am not a wrist-watch person, as I do forget to wear it at most times, but when I decided to get my ‘one’ wrist watch, I remember browsing through stores like GUESS, MICHAEL KORS, FOSSIL, MARC JACOBS and couple more.

And then I finally went with Michael Kors, because other than the fact that it was trendy, I loved the style.  The Michael Kors’ piece that I found, was gold-plated in general, but had the silver run through the middle of the watch. Though this piece was a lady’s watch, it didn’t exactly look feminine, for it was quite huge, but I loved it anyway, and every time I wore it people complimented it.

Here are a few tips to put in mind when buying a wrist watch. The first would be to have your price range in mind and keep to it. Secondly, know the type you would be going for, that is, will it look dressy, sporty, fashionable or versatile. Also the size is to be considered and the make or designer if you care about that.
