While the New York Spring 2016 collections adhered to a great extent on the monochromatic palette, the looks in London during the Spring 2016 fashion week was different. The Londoner front row flock, rock festive top layer that incorporates anything but standard monochromatic.
Victoria Beckham for instance, slipped into a straight-off-her-own-runway surf-print-inspired coat while checking up things at her Dover Street boutique, while Alexa Chung"s fur-collared slicker added a brilliant touch to her gray look. And fashionistas such as Kate Moss, Daisy Lowe, and Naomie Harris played more with print, during the fashion week, mostly in shades of black and white. One Direction front man Harry Styles attempted his own style in bringing back the skinny rocker suit favored by Mick Jagger and David Bowie.
The seventies styling also ruled the Londoner street styling, during the fashion season with celebrities such as Jourdan Dunn, Sienna Miller and others taking the center stage. Other notable celebrity street stylings in London during the LFW involved Elisa Sednaoui - she elevated the simple camel trench into luxe territory with a suede coat. lifted the straightforward camel trench into luxury domain with her softened cowhide coat.
Watch out what comes next, as the fashion week moves to Milan.
