Famous Parisian shoemaker- Roger Vivier is set to introduce a brand new capsule collection that consists of choice archival pieces designed by creative director- Brumo Frisoni.
This distinguished Caprice line which contain the brand’s signature Miss Yon pumps designed with bird feathers, the Bug evening tube clutch with its chic insect appliques and a gorgeous pair of heels that are open-toed and beautifully shaped artistically using rosebud made of raffia which the creative director- Brumo regarded as “a summer hat for your feet.”
Given the materials being used for this limited edition line, it’s safe to say that Roger Vivier is definitely looking to its heritage and taking it a top notch higher. The 35-piece collection spreads across shoes, bags and jewelry, and is set to go on sale today. The sale will be going down live at Theluxer.com which happens to be the main e-commerce partner of the Tod’s group. Tod’s group consists of Tod’s, Hogan, Fay and Roger Vivier, and is said to be jointly owned by Diego Della Valle.
The Price for each piece of the collection will be made available on demand.
The beautiful face for Caprices’ campaign is no other person than Julia Restoin Roitfeld. Julia was photographed in several settings including against a sober black background by Michael Avedon, Richard’s grandson, offsetting the collection’s eccentric character.
According to Julia Restoin Roitfeld, the brand was quite French for her and this was by reason of the fact that it has the right balance between being super classic and timeless with little quirky details. “This is what makes it special” Julia said in a statement.
