In a royal ceremony and christening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge- Prince William and Catherine dedicated their little princess at Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Sandringham. Present at the ceremony were royals from all angles including the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. grandparents Charles, the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and Michael and Carole Middleton.
As excited as we are about the christening, we are quite particular about the outfit that was worn by Princess Charlotte. Like her elder brother- Prince George, she wore a custom, handmade gown comprised of Honiton lace lined with white satin. It is said to have been designed by the dressmaker for Queen Elizabeth II- Angela Kelly.
Her beautiful mom on the other hand looked beautiful in a gorgeous coat that was designed by Sarah Burton. It was simple, classy and summer inclined.
Princess Charlotte’s baptismal gown was everything a royalty should don on. It took on several elements that dated back to the royal christening that held in 1841. Knowing Kate as an astute wardrobe repeater, it would still have been great to see her wear the little princess her big brother’s christening dress. Regardless, we are more than excited that baby Charlotte is already making her mark in the fashion world.
