For some reason, I’ve become quite drawn to this beautiful magenta-violet hue, especially when it comes in maxi dresses (see here and here). I chose to wear this beautiful piece to the Bastille Day black tie ball at the French Ambassadors residence for two reasons: 1) my other option was sleeveless and I wasn’t about to freeze to death into the late night; and 2) it’s a stretchy kinda dress which makes it ideal for tasting as many French dishes, cheeses and sweet treats.
I’m pretty certain you can wear this dress back to front and that it would look better that way if you were more endowed that I am up top! I’ve got to say, one of the things I love most about exploring the world of fashion is the endless possibilities that comes with styling a particular piece.
