Kim Kardashian West and Caitlyn Jenner came in contact for the first time at Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair shoot.The reality TV star and businesswoman spoke about the fact that at the cover shoot, she first laid her eyes on her stepparent- who used to be known as Bruce Jenner before transforming into Caitlyn.In a discussion with Entertainment Weekly, she revealed that the moment was golden and very beautiful as she set her eyes on Caitlyn for the first time.

According to Kim “She’s beautiful, and I’m so proud that she can just be her authentic self. I guess that’s what life is about.”

She also talked about the love and support that the family was giving Caitlyn in these difficult times.

Kim voiced out her unrepentant love for Caitlyn as she discuss how warmly her family had embraced the former athlete. She spoke about the importance of giving support to people in the transgender community as this could in many ways curb the suicide rate.

The 34 year old expectant mother also shared some pictures from the photo shoot on social media and urged her step-mother to be happy and proud of who she is.

Bruce Jenner reveals new name Caitlyn as she covers Vanity Fair

The entire Kardashian/Jenner Klan have shown intense support for the shoot and even though Kris Jenner has chosen to ignore the whole thing, she recently revealed why her marriage failed.

The Kardashian matriarch remained invisible on twitter while other family members openly lent a voice of support to Caitlyn.

Kendall Jenner and her elder sister- Kim even went on to re-post the magazine cover while Kris on the other hand kept talking about “being mistreated” in her former marriage to Bruce.

The former Olympian however stated that the marriage didn’t end due to his gender issues but mostly as a result of how mistreated he was.
