The 2015 Billboard Music Awards is here again and this time, the best of stars were honoured for their good works and artistes ranging from Mariah Carey to Ed Sheeran were up to beautify the stage and receive deserved accolade.
The BMA holds every year and this time it’ll was presented by 9pm EDT. It went live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was hosted by the very popular Ludacris alongside the beautiful wife of John Legend- Chrissy Teigen. During the show, Taylor Swift revealed her latest album titled- Bad Blood which featured Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss.
This year, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and Sam Smith led the nomination list and a number of A-listers will be giving out the awards tonight which ranges from the likes of Khloe Kardashian to One-Direction.
This happened to be One Direction’s first awards show appearance as a fourpiece and it was quite fascinating as they dedicated they award to Zayn Malik who had just quit the group. They also paid a tribute to their former band mate in an acceptance speech.
Sometime in May, the young men revealed that they were a bit upset about Zayn’s decision but over time the anger dissipated.
In their first interview as a four-piece with James Corden on The Late Late Show on Thursday night, the 21-year-old singer said: “At first we were a little bit angry. We were surprised, but I think we all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling.” [Celebrity News, MirrorUK]
