MUSTERED LADY: Miami Police"s real female cops in promo video causes an outrage because the officers appeared too sexy

The trailer video was supposedly created for a reality series called ‘Miami Blue, the Real Miami Vice’. This reality series, however, never made it to production, for it was not selected. Instead, the trailer video to this series, made it to the web, and that is how it started creating public uproar.

There have been many public concerns expressed about this botched Miami Police reality series but one of the main discussions has centered on the real female cops that starred in this project : They are just too sexy and their presence makes it difficult for some people to comprehend that they can be sexy and still deliver their primary assignments as cops.

For example, in a segment of the trailer video, one of the female cops is seen relaxing on a beach with a great figure ,wearing a breath-taking swim outfit, and a police badge strapped to her side at the same time. Piuu!

Union president Lt Javier Ortiz remembers cameras following him around the Ultra music festival in 2013. He says that when he asked then police chief Manuel Orosa about the video, he was told that it was for ‘recruitment purposes’.

Orosa countered Ortiz’s statement, saying the video was never to meant to sell his department as sexy or glamorous. Instead, he says a local production company pitched him the idea of a new reality series and he agreed to let them shoot for a few days, in hopes that it would lead to a hefty donation to the Police Athletic League.‘They were here for about three days,’ Orosa told the Miami Herald. ‘They shot some scenes with different officers and they packaged a six minute sizzler reel to sell it to the networks.’Orosa retired in December, and the man who took over for him, current Chief Rodolfo Llanes, says he didn’t even know the trailer existed until Ortiz showed him on Monday. I personally suppose that these cop ladies are just ‘mustered‘, they got guts.
