For us, it wasn’t just the people present at the event but the Qeelin pieces that beautified the guests. The co-founder of jewelry house who also happens to be the director – Dennis Chan was found sporting a Qeelin panda pendant that was arrayed in black and white diamonds. This particular accessory was taken round the room as designers like Christopher Kane, Giambattista Valli, Zac Posen and Jason Wu embraced the shimmering beauty along with Vogue’s Hamish Bowles, Sally Singer and Chinese Vogue’s Angelica Cheung.

Other important persons at the event include Mel Ottenberg, Veronica Chou and Mario Testino who enjoyed the elegant designs and discussed more on today’s Met gala which will be held tonight.

Lui Wen spoke about the excitement of seeing the entire gala come together. The sharing of ideas between east and west is something special that’s also special to my own heart.”

Adding to this Murdoch said, “Andrew Bolton and Wong Kar Wai have collaborated to create an amazing exhibition that so incredibly illustrates how the Chinese culture has been celebrated throughout the ages and across cultural boundaries.”
