If there’s one brand that never stops amazing us, it’s Lane Bryant. Observing their collaboration with Isabel Toledo, Sophie Toledo, Sophie Theallet and Lela Rose; the mega-retailer that specializes in plus-size ladies lingerie has recently undertaken a major fashion collab.
The company brought together a front-of-the-line creative team that consisted of famous fashion photog Cass Bird, stylist Kathryn Neale and the advertising agency behind Tom Ford, Chloe, Diane von Furstenberg and a couple of other big-time fashion designers with high-profile designer talent. They all came together to form #ImNoAngel.
With the campaign, they are inviting the world to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes by re-writing the society’s idea of sexy with a powerful theme: All women are sexy. (Sure!)
The following models Ashley Graham, Marquita Pring, Candice Huffine, Victoria Lee, Justine Legault and Elly Mayday where featured in the images for Lane Bryant’s underwear line. In what we consider an extra-ordinary shoot, the beauties were featured without much make-up and yet still looked exquisite.
As if the beautiful models weren’t enough, the company introduces Lee (above) and Mayday who show diversity and adversity respectively.
The message behind this campaign is one that will definitely be reckoned with across the world and yes! it’s time to re-invent the notion of plus-size ladies in the fashion world.
The truth is this- You don’t need to be slim in other to be beautiful and sexy. Sexy is being confident and proud of the amazing body that God has given you. [Glamour]
