The ABC Kitchen was star-stud as we had a host of celebrities and stars from Hollywood who gathered together to celebrate the jewelry stalwart’s annual Blue Book Collection. This happens to be the first by the design director.
According to Frank, “It took him a year and a half to design this collection and then it gets taken by clients every season. It’s nice to invite friends and family to come, celebrate it, see it, try it and probably play with it”. The collection was inspired by the season and was on display in an enclosed area close to the back of the restaurant. Guests were allowed to try the various pieces and take pictures. The photographer for the night was Jessica Craig-Martin and she did a splendid job.
Some guests also wore their accessories through the evening. Reese Witherspoon wore an emerald-cut tourmaline pendant which has the catchy part of her entire appearance. Olivia Wilde had earrings that were coated in diamond while Amber Heard looked like she just came from the bedroom with her fine gems which were perfectly combines with her tourmaline and diamonds.
Witherspoon, who was only in town for a few days gushed about the arrival of spring in New York City and was very excites about the Big Apple, it’s places and people. Olivia Wilde spent most of the evening chatting with Prabal Gurung as the four-course meal rolled out.
In the words of Amfitheatrof on the event, “It just allows us to have a moment where we’re really relaxed with the collection and for everyone to sort of enjoy it and see it before it just goes pouf and it’s gone!” [Vogue]
