It’s no long news that Gisele Bündchen might be retiring from the runway and the media hasn’t made things any easier for us by giving similar reports. This happened after rumors came up on her walking her last show during the forthcoming Sao Pãulo Fashion Week that is posed to hold in April for a brand regarded as Colcci. Although this information is yet to be verified, a representative at IMG stated that information was “lost in transit”. The representative also made known the fact that since no official notice had been released by the model, it wasn’t safe to make any inconclusive assumptions yet.

The source revealed that “Gisele didn’t make any statement” . The source also went on to say that there was still a strong connection between Gisele and other international brands for which she engages in shows, projects for. It was also made known that Gisele might not be doing fashion week, seventeen (17) shows in all three cities and she might not start this. However, this is not enough reason to say that she won’t work on any special project in the future. To use the word “retirement” in describing Gisele’s case is harsh and uncalled for.

For those that have been following Gisele since she began her bright career, you would recall that she made her catwalk debut in 1996 for Dolce and Gabbanna, Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen shows in Milan and Paris. Also, just recently, she made displayed works of Chanel, Balenciaga and Givenchy on the runway.
