The past week has been rather hectic. Last week Tuesday I got to speak at iHub for Startup Grind alongside Ann McCreath, Connie Aluoch and Anne Mpinga which was such an incredible experience! We shared our journey with the audience and I was lucky enough to do the same thing Thursday evening at Karen Country Club for the iMentor Talk but this time I was joined by Thompson Ncube, Peter Nduati and Ndegz on the panel. And then amidst all that, I had an unexpected trip to State House very early one morning where the First Lady, Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta had invited a handful of women in media to train with her for the Marathon. Call time? 5AM. Goodness gracious. If you’re keen to read about my exciting, near-death experience and get to know why we were there (and why you should be signing up for the marathon too), check out my article on Capital Lifestyle.
And that’s amidst all the other things I’m trying to juggle. I’m so tired but so grateful at the same time. This is exactly what I want to be doing and I try not to complain too much. I hope you’re living your dreams too and if you’re not, I hope you’re making moves towards that!
Anyway, I digress.
Today’s look is brought to you courtesy of the print obsession I had a while back. Remember that? With all those prints going on, I knew I wanted to keep everything else simple – from the shoe to the background of the pictures. Funny how there are reflections on several surfaces: the glass windows, the heel of my shoe, the sequins on my top and my clutch. I actually only noticed that as I was thinking of a title.
Happy hump day!
Love and love.
