Congratulations! Once again, the Nigerian Fashion Designer Mai Atafo put up a very impressive show at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa 2014 (MBFWAfrica 2014) with his latest collection .
Mai Atafo’s Mai Atafo Inspired (MAI) has quickly become a household name in bespoke fashion, in the last couple of years. Designer Mai Atafo designs for both men and women. And in this Spring/Summer 2015 season, his focus has been on the use of soft colors in his collection. This designer believes that colors can be worn by both men and women. He also believes that colors also tell “a relatable fashion story”.
When recently asked the following question about his designs, “What is the most African thing about your collection?”. This the answer that designer Mai Atafo gave, “The heart of the designer is that of the collection.”
