The famous South African soapie, Generations, went off-air to South Africans for the time in 2 decades, on October 1st, 2014.
The incident of Generations’ shutdown was not only regrettable in South Africa, the effect has registered equally regrettably beyond the borders of South Africa. For those of you reading this post, who are not aware, Generations was rated as the most viewed South African soap opera on South African television.
Generations is come and gone, but it left behinds some real talents, among them, ‘mustered’ ladies, one of which, I would like to dedicate this post to: Connie Ferguson.
Connie is an actress, a producer, a health ambassador, a Garnier spokesperson, a daughter, a wife, a mother and above all, God’s child.

As an Actress, Connie was one of the main casts in the soapie, Generations, until she left the acting role some four years ago to assume her current ones. As a producer, she and her husband, Shona Ferguson, co-produce the South African soapie, Rockville.
As a Garnier spokesperson, Mrs. Ferguson has featured in several of South African Garnier’s infomercials and continues to be a strong advocate for Garnier’s line of products. Connie is also the daughter of a dedicated parenthood, who invested well in the well being of their children, both in South Africa and in Botswana. Happily married to Shona, the Actress-Producer’s marriage is blessed with two beautiful girls.
