Miley Cyrus, the Cool, Calm, and Collected
When most people think of Miley Cyrus, they think of a wild-madonna-kind-of lady, an ever-full-of-adrenalin-kind-of lady.. This may be true on stage, however, Miley can also be the calm, cool and collected, the kind of lady that most guys would like to date, for keeps.
Let’s make no mistake, Miley Cyrus, is an entertainment artist, and an Actress. She has held many minor acting roles since her childhood. So the art of commanding the attention of others, is a talent that Miley has developed over the years.
Outside stage, Miley is just like the average 21-plus-year-olds. She has a heart for ordinary people, she is a staunch advocate for the home-less. In 2014, Miley made news, when she asked, Jesse Helt, a young man who had been home-less to receive her MTV Video Music Awards award on her behalf. She did this, just to draw the attention of the authorities to the plight young people, who are becoming increasingly home-less in the United State. So, you see, this is Miley, the rights advocate.
Miley Cyrus, the Philanthropist
Miley is a die-hard supporter of many charitable organizations which include but not limited to City of Hope, Libby Ross Foundation, Musicians on Call etc, In Miley’s own words she says, “If you pick up a guitar when you’re 8 you’re really good at it by the time you’re 20. It’s the same with giving back. My family has been visiting Kentucky coal-mine towns since I was little. We take clothes, gifts, and school supplies. It’s an eye opener for me, seeing families here in America living in Third World conditions. And it makes me want to make a difference. The truth is, it’s never too early to get involved. Someday today’s kids will be running for President. Now is our prep time. We need to get some practice in before we save the world.”. So, that is Miley, the philanthropist.
It is common place, Miley can go ‘controversial’ too. Sometimes, you just can’t tell what she has up her sleeves. She has her own way of generating attention on her self. But that is Miley. In 2013, she generated controversy by ‘cultivating a sexually explicit public image while promoting her fourth studio album Bangerz“.
Once again, Miley is just an artist, a performer, an entertainer, a brand, and a personality of many shades. To better understand Miley, go under the ‘hood’. And to Miley’s critics, I hope that one day, they will better understand who Miley Cyrus really is.
