Most women don’t even give this clothing a second look when they see it in a store, and I perfectly understand why. Because they think it’s too baggy, and less flattering.
Well, I have a good news for you today. Crotch pants may look so big and bogus but they sure do look good when they’re tailored to fit.
Drop crotch pants have always been in existence, and we all know how evolving fashion is. These same pants were worn by celebs like Mc Hammer as far back as the early 90s, and today our teen sweethearts like Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith rock them without remorse, so why shouldn’t you give it another try.
A few things to have in mind when rocking a harem pant:
1. Adjust it to fit: when you buy you crotch pants from the store, it is best to take it to your tailor to adjust it properly to fit.
2. Customize your harem pants: It’s best to go meet your tailor to take the right measurement and also the style you want. That way you won’t be subjected to wearing the over-baggy ones, but you decide how low the crotch should drop.
3. They don’t have to be baggy: your crotch pants doesn’t always have to come baggy. I’ve seen some celebrities like Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani rock great looking crotch pants.
4. Don’t over accessorize: please keep the accessories simple when rocking a harem pant. The idea of this clothing is to appear casual.
5. Pair it well: drop crotch pants are slouchy enough, so you don’t want to wear it with another slouchy top.
I for one love drop crotch pants, because they are my ‘run-to’ whenever I don’t feel like dressing up at all.
