In the spring and summer of 2013, a new style of skirts became popular: the skater skirts. Unlike other fashion trends, they did not fade into oblivion. On the contrary, they became so popular that they are now practically a staple in a young woman’s closet.
What are skater skirts?
Skater skirts are skirts that are fitted at the waist, but flare out into an A-line shape. They usually stop above the knees. Skater skirts look similar to figure skating outfits, thus the name.
Skater skirts are so popular because they come in an array of different fabrics such as:

The best part of skater skirts is that they can be worn during any season: fall, winter, spring or summer!
For the spring or summer, skaters skirts would look great with crop tops. For the fall or winter, skater skirts would look great with a long sleeve shirt or sweater and tights or knee high socks!

I personally love skater skirts because you can wear them with anything for any occasion. Skater skirts can be worn to the mall, on dates or the parties with the right accessories. Skater skirts could be worn with any body type, because they are universally flattering.
