I call them PHAT not fat, because plus size women are incredibly gorgeous.

It is globally known that an average African woman is not skinny, but fleshy in the right proportions. These women have continued to turn haters into believers with their fashion. As much as there are plus size women who are very fashion-forward, there are still many of them whose style and fashion sense is poor. So, today I wanna talk about style tips for PHAT Women.

* Forget trends and focus on yourself : Instead of investing in trend that doesn’t fit, stick with classics that fits perfectly. Create a style to suit your size, body frame, personality and own it.

* Avoid baggy clothes: You are already obvious, so you don’t have to ruin it all by hiding yourself in baggy clothes. Wear things like breezy chiffon tops, tucked into a pencil skirt and a pair of flat shoes or wedges. Or you don a jeans trouser and a nice shirt. Just stay away from over-sized clothes.

* No skin tight clothes: As much as you need to wear fitted clothes, please don’t make it too tight so you don’t reveal the extra phat (fat).

*Dress smart: Always dress smart and make sure you leave a lasting impression anywhere you appear. A pair of Denim trousers, a good blouse and a pair of moccasins should do you good.
