See I don’t know about y’all but I know about me, and uh, I feel like I need new clothes – everyday! Like, on the regular degular, I feel like I need to be getting more and more clothes. I mean, I’ve always loved clothes (obvi) but lately, I need and want to shop everyday.And its Summer in South Africa but I also have a very specific look that I am going for so it might happen that I go to the mall say, and find absolutely nothing to wear. And shoes have been my biggest problem – like is it too much that I just want to wear booties, sneakers and heels (and at a stretch, sandal, but only if they have a heel)? And lately high-waisted jeans are the only kind that fit right – like, I love them and boyfriend jeans too, but the boyfriend jeans sometimes make my tush look smaller than it is (we don’t want that!).And then dresses – I only want the tight ones. But where are they? I’ve specifically been looking for ones below the knee in melange. Or maybe even looser pretty ones that must be cinched at waist. Like, where are they?! Ah.I’ve realised also that my style changes about every year – and it doesn’t change fully, I just have a much more specific idea in my mind about what I want, what fits right, and definitely how I want to look. For me, the one person’s style that embodies exactly what I want to look like, especially in the day, is Anjelica Lorenz of Mode Junkie. Now trust me I’ve been following Anjelica’s blog since probably ’09 and to me, she brings it. If I could one closet it would be her’s.Here are some of my favourite looks from her.
