Today, I’m going to be sharing with you on common mistakes that people make in relationships. A lot of people indulge in some on the issues we’re going to look at without even knowing the implications or being involved in such. These mistakes are more often than not, the reason why a lot of relationships don’t last or make it to the finishing line.
SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE: Sadly but so, sex before marriage has become a norm in so many relationships and what makes the situation more disheartening is the fact that a lot of people think it’s okay to engage in pre-marital sex. What they don’t know is that pre-marital sex creates a bond that should only exist between husband and wife. Beyond this, the sacredness of “Sex” when indulged in before marriage is tarnished and the relationship is open to physical and spiritual attacks. Let’s not even talk much of the high risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Sex before marriage is one common mistake that people make in a relationship.
CHEATING: It’s no longer news that the rate of cheating has skyrocketed over time and many are even beginning to think that there is absolutely nothing wrong with cheating. However, these are simply lies that people tell themselves. There is everything wrong with cheating and this is a common mistake that a lot of people make. What some people don’t know is that when you cheat on your partner in a relationship, that relationship will never last. Learn to stay faithful and if it’s still a challenge for you then you should seek help and work toward learning the habit of “commitment” in a relationship.
MOVING IN TOGETHER: Another mistake that is very common to relationships is the act of “living together” before you’re pronounced as husband and wife. This creates over-familiarity between unmarried couples, gives you absolutely nothing to look forward in marriage and creates room for doing the wrong thing. Until you are declared married before God, your family and friends, you shouldn’t even consider living in the same house. It’s very deadly and in most cases rips a relationship apart.
