THE PENCILED LADY
The penciled Lady is all about pencil skirts. Pencil skirts have been in the industry for a while and these days this trend can be seen in the work offices, churches, weddings and all gatherings you can think of.
This trend is one of Africa’s best trends – it has a sophisticated African look. There is a trick to wearing the pencil skirt and here are some ‘must have’ pencil skirts:
1) The pencil skirt has to be a high waisted, for the high waisted-ness elongates the body.
As in the bellow below picture, a pencil skirt, coupled with a v-neck blouse, gives the office-lady feel, and add a clutch bag to make it even more formal:
Add some print-on-print to your looks, to make it fun. And add a neutral color to the shoes:
This is a must try look – small checked-shirt and blazer, coupled with print.. I love this:

2) A pencil skirt should begin to taper at the thighs- it has to be tight.
3) Pencil skirt’s Hemline has to be between knee + mid calf.
4) Choose pencil skirts that are made from light-weight wool or cotton with a stretch for a snug fit
